Meet these Venezuelan jefas Claudia & Flavia Giardinella. The sisters are the definition of mujeres chingonas. They had an idea for a women’s clothing line, took a risk and made it happen.
The name is artTeca, a brand of clothing that is unique, luxury quality and affordable. The inspiration to create this brand comes from the women’s background in fashion and art. Fashion and art go hand in hand, and they wanted to find a way to mesh the two in one. The sisters explain that they wanted to create clothing that would make your closet “resemble a colorfully gallery” hence the name artTeca, which means art gallery. Printing art onto clothing and making it look chic can’t be easy, but the sisters nailed it. The result being, one-of-a-kind pieces that are fun yet, versatile enough to go from day to night.
You should be able to get excited about putting your outfit together in the morning, no matter what your job is. The women believe that what you wear greatly affects how you feel and carry yourself. Si tienen razon, eh? That’s why they are committed to quality and believe in being very involved in the creative process. By collaborating with contemporary artist they make sure that all designs are one of a kind.
La mujer arTeca is described as “strong independent and confident. She never sacrifices style for convenience, because she invests in versatile pieces that are both on-trend and timeless. She lives a dynamic, on-the-go life and doesn’t want to blend in. Instead she uses her unique style to stand out in a crowd”
Como te que el ojo? Eres una mujer artTeca?
