Happy International Women's Month! While we here at artTECA embrace the power of womanhood everyday, during this particular time of the year we wanted share how to Celebrate International Women's Month by Shopping these Women-Run Fashion Brands! Whether it's one woman or a team of women, each of these brands is led by passion and talent to bring unique concepts to the shopping experience.
Founded by two sisters, Claudia and Flavia, artTECA fuses the aesthetics of the art and fashion industries to create a brand offering pieces that celebrate women. The sisters use the novelty of each of their collaborative artists' works and the intricacy of their design process to make clothing and accessories that mimic the individuality each woman possesses.
This sustainable brand of lingerie and swimwear was founded by Mckenzie Raley and Sarah Belz with the intention to provide pieces that are thoughtful in design and created with a minimalistic approach that keeps the essentials in mind.
Shoe designer Alana Oates and her array of highly talented artisans & craftsmen create one of a kind shoes through her brand Llani. She describes her motive as wanting to create pieces for a "fiercely independent woman, a bold-spirited creative like myself".
With a tagline that reads " modern shoes for modern women", this shoe brand brings together classic aesthetic with functional design. Founders Alexa Buckley and Sarah Pierson find importance in size inclusion and offer an "extended size range, multiple widths, and made-to-measure sizing so that every woman can find her perfect fit, regardless of size".
