The Coral Gables artistic hub serves the community and is dedicated to art and literature, with a special emphasis on the Visual Arts and Hispanic-American Literature. More than just a gallery, Imago: Art In Action offers a cultural experience from the moment you enter it’s doors. This cultural center just kicked off their grand opening with the exhibition “ON” last night, April 6.
This exhibition features a selection of works by a group of ten extraordinary Venezuelan artists who have been linked to aesthetic diversity in contemporary art. The group of artists includes: Harry Abend, Pedro Terán, Nadia Benatar, Sigfredo Chacón, Vicente Antonorsi, Patricia Van Dalen, Isabel Cisneros, Javier León, Paulo Castro and Rafael Rangel.
The space is divided into four functional sections: The Gallery, The Library, The Workshops and The Designer-Objects Store.
Visit the gallery and shop Artteca scarves in person! Also be sure to catch the inaugural exhibition “ON”, showing now through July.
