New York artist, and Artteca collaborative artist, Wendy White had quite the year in 2015 and this next one won’t prove any differently. The contemporary artist, who graduated with a MFA from Rutgers University, has a consistent aesthetic that is inspired by a variety of the artist’s interests. From branding to athletics to architecture, White is as well versed as she is respected in every art space she enters.
In 2015 Wendy White participated in three solo exhibitions, twelve group exhibitions and two projects. She is currently featured in a current group exhibition in Beijing, CN M Woods titled: FULL OF PERIL AND WEIRDNESS: PAINTING AS A UNIVERSALISM.
Wendy White is no stranger to the fashion X art world. In Jan 2015, the artist debuted Redid® in collaboration with Adidas. The pop-up shop was opened in Rawson Projects in New York as part of the gallery’s “A Process Series”. The shop was stocked with artist-rebranded items, including sneakers, tote bags and t-shirts. White is in good company, artists like Jeremy Scott and fashion designer Stella Mcartney also have a history of teaming up with the Adidas brand.
The contemporary artist has also had her work praised in renown publications such as The New York Observer, Elephant Magazine, BlouinArtInfo, Interview, Art in America, Elle Decor, BBC Culture and many more.
So, what is the Artteca collaborative artist up to at the moment? White is currently featured in this month’s episode of White Hot Magazine’s “The Secret History of Contemporary Art Episode 8”. The artist talks in detail about some of her work and her industry secret. She has had work featured in popular galleries such as Galerie Jérôme Pauchant in Paris, David Castillo Gallery in Miami, Steven Wolf Fine Art in san Francisco and museums such as Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary.

White will also be giving a lecture on her work at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture on February 9, 2016 at 6:30pm. The lecture is free to the general public. Along with another lecture at the Maryland Institute College of Art on Feb 29th.
